Lazy Days!

Well, we have not had the winter wonderland here in Jefferson that Atlanta experienced but we have had some relaxing days in the past week. Tyler had his first fever this week, but man has he been a trooper through it. The doctor said it was just a virus so we have been taking advantange of the opportunity to just lay around and get him back to feeling better. Thankfully the fever is lower today and we spent the day with Nana and Papa, watching movies and just chilling out. Also, they brought Tyler a new toy that he walks behind (well, he's supposed to walk behind it but for now it takes off and he tries to get his feet moving fast enough not to fall- I will have to get video of it soon)
For those of you who have not been around Tyler and my dad lately, it is very funny to watch the two of them together. Many times Tyler will not even come to me if dad has him, I think dad's head gets a little bigger everytime we see him :)
Last weekend Emily and I went on a scrapboking retreat at Lake Oconee with about eight other girls, which was really very fun. We ended up staying up until six in the morning after scrapbooking all day Saturday, and I almost completely finished Tyler's scrapbook to this point. It was so nice to have a girls weekend full of good food, relaxation, and scrapbooking! (I must be getting old, I know)
Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.
The first and second pictures are from Tyler's play group. The four babies/moms in the picture are the friends that we started the group with- I cannot believe how much all the babies have grown!
And the last two shots are from last night of Tyler and Jamie sharing a midnight snack!

Our family

We have enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through their blogs so much lately that I decided to do one for our family. Tyler was born on March 25, 2007 and has been such an amazing blessing to Jamie and me. We have enjoyed him so much, and we look forward to sharing the many memories we are making with each of you.
