Pump It Up!!!
It has been a fun week so far. We started off yesterday with our first trip to Pump It Up (an indoor facility full of moon walks and ride on toys). We met Emily, Wylie, and Ashley and some people from Tyler's playgroup there. It was very fun and all the kids were definitely worn out afterward (well, not just the kids- I didn't realize what a workout it would be for me!) Tyler loved the pink four wheeler (don't tell daddy!) As you can see from the pictures, Tyler was sort of shocked everytime we went down the slide.
Then tonight Jamie and I had our first get together with our small group from church. It seems like a great group of people (seven couples) that we will meet with weekly- we are very excited about the expereince.
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Toddle Time!
My goal is to start posting a couple of times a week- so here it goes.....
I have started taking Tyler to a new playgroup called Toddle Time, which is the older group at St. Marys hospital. It is geared toward babies who are mobile, and he is really enjoying it. We took Ashley with us today because Emily was not feeling well and there are lots of kids her age there, too. She kept saying "see those babies Ally." Then we went to lunch with some of our friends from the group- it was a fun day! I thought this last picture was too funny- I took Ashley's jacket off at lunch and this is what happened!
The past two weeks I have worked three days because my friend who I share the job with went out of town last week. So it was nice to have today off to have fun with the kids. Work is going well, it just seemed like it took us a really long time to get in a good routine this year- but I think we are finally there :) I think this was due to changing schools, only being there half the days and the fact that I do not stay at work after hours any- I leave as soon as my workday is over to get home to see my little man!

A few more pictures from today!
Lazy Days!
Well, we have not had the winter wonderland here in Jefferson that Atlanta experienced but we have had some relaxing days in the past week. Tyler had his first fever this week, but man has he been a trooper through it. The doctor said it was just a virus so we have been taking advantange of the opportunity to just lay around and get him back to feeling better. Thankfully the fever is lower today and we spent the day with Nana and Papa, watching movies and just chilling out. Also, they brought Tyler a new toy that he walks behind (well, he's supposed to walk behind it but for now it takes off and he tries to get his feet moving fast enough not to fall- I will have to get video of it soon)
For those of you who have not been around Tyler and my dad lately, it is very funny to watch the two of them together. Many times Tyler will not even come to me if dad has him, I think dad's head gets a little bigger everytime we see him :)
Last weekend Emily and I went on a scrapboking retreat at Lake Oconee with about eight other girls, which was really very fun. We ended up staying up until six in the morning after scrapbooking all day Saturday, and I almost completely finished Tyler's scrapbook to this point. It was so nice to have a girls weekend full of good food, relaxation, and scrapbooking! (I must be getting old, I know)
Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.
The first and second pictures are from Tyler's play group. The four babies/moms in the picture are the friends that we started the group with- I cannot believe how much all the babies have grown!
And the last two shots are from last night of Tyler and Jamie sharing a midnight snack!

Happy New Year!
Well, what a year it has been! We have so much to be thankful for from 2007- Tyler's birth, Jamie's amazing recovery, John's recovery, and all the births in the family. I must say however, that I am hoping that 2008 is a little less eventful :) All in all, it was a great year and I would not change a thing.
We made our first trip to the Georgia Aquarium on New Years day after staying in Atlanta on New Years Eve. We really enjoyed the aquarium, and just like Sea World Tyler enjoyed looking at all the animals.
I hope everyone is having a great start to 2008!

Bauer Christmas
Well, we have been a little busy aound here lately and I am not sure where the time has gone so I am going to try to catch up on posts for the last couple of weeks! Here are some pictures from the Bauer Christmas weekend here in Jefferson. We had an awesome time visiting with everyone- but as always it flew by and I wish we had more time to enjoy each other.

Our family
- Allison, Jamie, and Tyler welcome you to our blog.
- We have enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through their blogs so much lately that I decided to do one for our family. Tyler was born on March 25, 2007 and has been such an amazing blessing to Jamie and me. We have enjoyed him so much, and we look forward to sharing the many memories we are making with each of you.
