I had to add another video of Tyler jumping off the diving board tonight at swim lessons. He doesn't think the first half of swim lessons is all that great because he wants to do his own thing, but man does he love that last half when they get to go down the slide and jump off the diving board. Yesterday on the way to Mr. Phil's he told me "I not want to go swim with Mr. Phil I can swim all by meself"... go figure, he thinks he knows it all already :) Yesterday we went to see Jamie at a job they are working on near Lake Lanier. As we were leaving Tyler said he had to get his hard hat and tool belt, notice the fireman hat in the picture :) He thought he was big stuff driving the excavator and the skid steer. I heard him on his toy phone this morning saying "Uncle John, don't forget to fix the excavator and skid steer." He is getting quite the imagination!
The picture of Jamie and I is from our small group 80's party on Monday night.... Jamie went for the rocker look so we gave him a mohawk Monday afternon- it was hilarious but he cut it off after the party :)

Happy Fathers Day
We have been hitting the pool as much as possible lately and Tyler has been loving every minute of it. Luke has officially started rolling over and drum roll please...... for the past two weeks he has been sleeping through the night!!! He sleeps about ten hours and then wakes up super happy and ready to play. I know I probably should not get too used to it, but hey I am enjoying it while it lasts :) Tyler had his first sleepover Saturday night which he thought was pretty cool. Ashley and Wylie stayed over, it is so much fun to see how close they are and how much fun the three of them have together. While Jamie and I were putting all three of them to bed in one room we had our reservations, but they all went to sleep quickly and did awesome (although while I was taking the pictures Jamie said I was really trying our luck :)). Sunday we had a great fathers day celebrating all of the amazing fathers in our lives. During the day we went to a new aquatics center in Gainesville and then Sunday night we had a lasagna dinner with both of our dads. I am truly amazed with how well my dad is doing after his surgery. You would never know that he had open heart surgery two months ago, and if anything he looks better than before! Thanks to amazing doctors the fathers in our family are healthy and doing great, we are so very blessed!

Happy Birthday Mimi!
We celebrated Mimi's birthday tonight. It was so cute, as soon as I put candles on the cake Tyler started singing Happy Birthday and then he told Mimi what her present was :) Here are also a few pictures from the weekend, Tyler is crazy about "Aunt JesEEE" these days so he had fun spending the day with her on Sunday.

May in a nutshell :)

Well, I keep saying I am going to do weekely post and now I realized that it has been an entire month since I have posted! Oh well, we have been having fun around here and well you know how that goes, time flies!!! We have been showering great friends and family in anticpation of the birth of Bo, Sara and Kyle's little boy, and in celebration of Shannon and Tony's upcoming wedding!!! This month we also went straberry picking (I should have paid an extra $10 for what Tyler ate while he was "picking" strawberries), went to the annual Memorial Meat party at Beth and Josh's, Jamie did another duathlon, we went on a retreat weekend to the lake and celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. Tyler and Luke are just growing and changing daily, and Jamie and I are just trying to soak up every moment of this amzing opportunity to parent and love our little family.

Our family
- Allison, Jamie, and Tyler welcome you to our blog.
- We have enjoyed keeping up with family and friends through their blogs so much lately that I decided to do one for our family. Tyler was born on March 25, 2007 and has been such an amazing blessing to Jamie and me. We have enjoyed him so much, and we look forward to sharing the many memories we are making with each of you.
